The Ghost is Clear Records was founded a couple years ago by Bobby Johnson of Canyons fame.  It started out as a self promotional label to get the word out on mid-west bands that played music with heart and ambition.  The first 7 releases were digital and DIY CD releases.  After Bobby teamed up with Brian Dooley from Tigon they self-released, with the help of Mayfly and Melotov records, their band’s split 12 inch and decided to begin releasing vinyl specific releases moving forward with band’s they believed in.
